Here we have a fantastic project for sale, imported from Montana, USA which is a dry state.
The van has original paint, with a small amount of surface rust. Clearly the front end has received a knock in it’s past, you could either straighten and leave it with its battle scars, or replace the front end.
The interior is a Westfalia, the seats having been re-trimmed in a very close to original colour. Complete with rock and roll bed, cupboard, sink and buddy seat.
There is a 1700cc engine, although we’ve not had this running yet.
Being a ‘crossover’, the van has front disc brakes with a servo.
The van features opening quarter light windows, and louvered side windows.
Sold as a project, you could potentially get this van back on the road within a couple of weekends, or alternatively restore it back to its former glory.
All paperwork is there ready for registration, apart from the MOT. On registering, the van will be tax exempt.
