Where to start?
Herbie is the Best British T2 I have ever seen. He is an absolute cracker of an original Devon conversion. The underneath is immaculate, and the body work stunning.
As for originality? Herbie has bagfuls of it!
Herbie is in great original condition, and is sporting a new pop top roof. He has a few minor defects but nothing to worry about, and anything that needs doing is very minor and easily fixable.
He’s MOT’d and ready to roll.
The engine is the original 1970cc CJ code and the numbers match the log book to prove it. He runs super smooth.
I’m pretty confident that the mileage displayed on the clocks is the genuine mileage. We have the original VW service record from 1977. Which shows the recorded mileage of 44,000 miles in 1991. It also shows the two previous owners names and address’s
He’s a cracking Old Boy and he needs a new home.
Someone who will Look after him and keep him warm and dry.
