This bus was originally built on 24 October 1973 and delivered to San Francisco where it spent most of its life until being imported in to the UK. Being a dry US bus it is rot free and still retains its original paint underneath!
The bus came from the US to UK approximately 5 years ago with 75,437 miles on the clock. Current mileage is 78,171, so total mileage covered in 5 years is 2,734!!! This is confirmed by previous MOTs (Government Annual Tests).
The interior is mostly the same as when it left the factory though has had some updates during its life. It boasts original plaid front sets with head rests, table, sink, both storage cupboards, rear seat belts and a full width rock and roll bed.
The bus benefits from a 1800 engine which drives through a 4 speed gearbox.
The paint is good, the van having been repainted in its original colour in the past.
This is a sought after tin-top model (P21 option) which is in a rot free condition.
This is a great bus to personalise. At an additional cost you could have the lower part of the bus painted in a colour of your choice. A pop-top roof could be added or the interior could be replaced with something that suits your needs.
